In my digital photography class we are covering landscape photography at the moment. I also bought Photomatix this week. What you get is this photo:
ISO 200 f/22 1/13 28mm
I used a tripod to get the original three photos that were shot in color. I combined the images and put them in black and white in Photomatix. Fun stuff!

Very nice! I am using Nik for HDR and other Nik efex, but some people really love Photomatix. Perhaps I should try it.

I just “liked” a post where I think you are using Nik. You do a really good job with it. I just got Photomatix, they do have a trial version you could try, I got student pricing, so that is part of the reason I went with them.
