This short video won an honorable mention in my photography club the other weekend. I was super excited.
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may have seen this video before. I put it together this fall for a digital photography class I was taking. The photos were taken last spring. This nest was right outside my kitchen window and the photos were taken over a few week period. It was amazing how quickly the birds grew.
In order to get the pictures I set my tripod up on the kitchen chairs which I drug outside. I used a remote camera trigger. That way I could be inside the house and not bothering the robins. I am really hoping we get another nest this spring.
The program runs about four minutes.
Cheers!
Brilliant … well done

Thank you. The music I put together using Garage Band. It is a pretty cool application. My music ability isn’t all that. I have a background in piano and violin, but this was fairly user friendly. Someone who knew more about music and how to compose would really be able to put something nice together I think.

Beautiful. An opinion not shared by my dog, who was perplexed and demented by the birdsong soundtrack and spent the whole clip hunting around me and the desk!

Aww, am I allowed to think that is funny? Don’t want to tease the dog though π Thanks for your comment

It was actually very funny- her ears were standing on end as she glared maniacally at the hard drive, speakers and rubbish bin – never once at the bird images!

Yup, it exists, I couldn’t have done this without it. One part plugs into the camera, the other part I hold in my hand. That way I am out of the bird’s view. Thanks for your comment π
