Green is the theme at Where’s my backpack? this week and as of today I am still waiting for some green to turn up here, it has been grey and quite cold here lately.
Inside our house is another story though. My youngest is working on a science fair project, so we have some green sprouting this week, green beans to be precise. The project is to vary the amount of water the plants get daily and compare their growth rates.
These plants are growing very quickly, these two photos were taken one day apart.
It’s nice to see some green around 🙂
Cheers!
My 9 yr old has been doing the same! Except with light reflection she has a science fair tomorow!

It’s kind of nice too that she is learning that science experiments take quite a bit of work. We are hoping to put the plants in the garden after she is finished with this stage of things.

Interesting… My son brought home beans, corn and another thing… Can’t tell what it is and he forgot.

Yeah, unless they are labeled, it is a bit hard to tell them apart 🙂

Beans are like magic. I often plant them and then forget about them and when I remember, they’re already ready to plant outside.
