So it was the zebras and the giraffes that I found interesting from the standpoint that they were more likely to stand their ground, looking at you before deciding to leave or not. It gave me more time to photograph them as opposed the smaller animals who were likely to just turn tail and run when they saw us.
Yes, I see what you mean. Interesting that there is the difference in behavior, even though they are all prey for the larger animals, huh? It reminds me of crow behavior (often brazen and very close to humans) vs. sparrows, wrens, and, of course, hummingbirds. Even our woodpeckers can be quite shy at times, and then here are the crows, standing in the streets or on our lawn, stalking along as you walk by them on the sidewalk. 🙂
