Thank you, we got a beautiful moody day to visit. It absolutely poured rain on our drive back to Athens, but for this part of the day, luck was with us.
I have always wondered about how Delphi looks these days. I have read so much about up through the years, but never actually looked it up to she what it’s like. What a view from the ruins!
Yes, this was a spot I’d always been curious about and for this particular trip, my teenager who is interested in mythology was along, so this made it a good time to visit the site. I couldn’t help but think that they picked a stunning place to worship the Gods, the landscape really is beautiful and rugged.
Yes, and a part of the whole experience back in the day I think, that idea of “climbing the mountains to see God(s)” something that is a bit timeless I think. Thanks for your comment.
