It was a week bursting with animals and colors. The light was strong, so I spent some time trying different ways to use that light in a dramatic way.
Welcome to this week’s installment of my daily photographic record.ย Posts in this series will be photos from the week before, roughly Friday through Friday. This, once a week, wrap-up post will publish on Sunday. The photos for this post will be in a gallery format, they will have all been taken on my phone. The captions on the photos will be an indication of the photo-editing software used to edit them, or simply “as shot” for those that are unedited.
Writing a weekly wrap up with a gallery is a way for me to gather my thoughts on what has caught my attention in the previous week. It will be a way of filtering through what I am thinking about photographically. I’ll also be able to come back to these posts and look at what trends emerge over time.
As with all my posts, your comments are welcome. I appreciate your interaction with my work here on this blog. It is my intention to publish in this series on Sunday. Every Sunday that is possible. Looking at my year, I already know there are some weeks where I will not be close enough to my technology to make a post possible. In an effort to keep this project pleasant for myself, I won’t be attempting catch-up posts.
Hope to see you in the comments below and in this space next week!
Cheers!
Beautiful sunny photographs Amy, the main image with the smiling pig mama is adorable! ๐ค๐๐ xxx

The blossoms are beautiful. Nice to see them in spring. We are still waiting for spring up here.

I found this in my spam bin, so I apologise for the late response. Maybe by now Spring at least has a tentative start?

No worries I also have things go to spam for no good reason. We had sunshine yesterday and the daffodils are finally opening. We live in hope!

My camera is kind of like a diary. I don’t use my phone camera half so much, but certainly more than I used to. ๐ ๐

You had my attention with the Wisteria. It is such a beautiful plant and I always feel lucky to see one because they certainly aren’t very visible up here in my part of the country.

I agree it is so beautiful. It happens to do well here when looked after properly. This particular one is close to where I live, so I enjoy walking past it frequently.

Lovely selection of shots. Was “babe” just curious to see you, or did you have some food on offer?

It was feeding time, so not pictured was all the noise and carrying on about that!
