Yes, I can understand why people wanted to get rid of it immediately and am grateful that some parts of it were saved.

I like this view. The wall remnants look a bit like headstones, and that seems quite poignant. Then the addition of the artwork. Oh, how times have changed.

Indeed, it was a moving experience to visit some of these sites that I can remember watching on TV when the wall came down.
