This seagull seemed to be waiting for something:
I thought it was a nice scene, so I snapped the photo. In order to tell the story though, a crop was the much needed first edit. I’ve applied other edits as well, boosting shadows and luminance, but this is just a simple image, my memory of a walk in the park, so I’ve kept the edits simple as well:
Your thoughts on the scene are welcome below.
Cheers!

A simple but very beautiful scene. You’ve brought up the hint of sunlight very nicely, Amy 🙂 🙂

Thanks very much Jo, it just now occurs to me that this would have worked as a Monday walk post lol. It’s a lovely park to walk through, right in the heart of Dublin.

I don’t know it. Take me on a ”walk’ there? 🙂 🙂

It’s a lovely spot in the middle of the very bustling city, a perfect place to spend your lunch hour if you work nearby.

Your walk in the park was lifted by the enhancements – and the waiting gull became more prominent. I noticed that other gull to the right, which I hadn’t in the first one. Nicely done!

Yes, I like the tensions between the two birds, one waiting and one very much in motion. I liked the way the crop pulled that out. Thanks very much for your thoughtful comment.

Such a lovely scene, though I agree – that gull is contemplating something, and it probably ain’t good! 😀
