This week was really an interesting visual week for me. The resulting gallery below will attest to that. It would be a bit hard to pick a theme based just on the photos themselves. The thing they have in common is the photographer:
Welcome to this week’s instalment of my daily photographic record. Posts in this series will be photos from the week before, roughly Friday through Friday. This, once a week, wrap-up post will publish on Sunday. The photos for this post will be in a gallery format, they will have all been taken on my phone. The captions on the photos will be an indication of the photo-editing software used to edit them, or simply “as shot” for those that are unedited.
Writing a weekly wrap up with a gallery is a way for me to gather my thoughts on what has caught my attention in the previous week. It will be a way of filtering through what I am thinking about photographically. I’ll also be able to come back to these posts and look at what trends emerge over time.
As with all my posts, your comments are welcome. I appreciate your interaction with my work here on this blog. It is my intention to publish in this series on Sunday. Every Sunday that is possible. Looking at my year, I already know there are some weeks where I will not be close enough to my technology to make a post possible. In an effort to keep this project pleasant for myself, I won’t be attempting catch-up posts.
Hope to see you in the comments below and in this space next week!
Cheers!
oh that red post office box is cool and looks old. and the goat in the graveyard – imagine that?
It is also timely because I keep seeing goat yoga

Ok, so I have to ask, what is goat yoga?

Well it is literally where a goat walks on a person’s back during poses – not sure exactly but have heard of it for a while – saw pics – and then they had goat yoga classes at the small zoom we visited in Florida’s Pam handle last summer- look it up and you might see some funny things – I say no thanks to it

What a fabulous collection . . just loving that goat (although must admit I thought it a sheep!)

Thank you, in keeping with the truth, I am not an expert on goats and sheep, so I may have incorrectly labelled this creature. It looked more like a goat to me, although a type I am not familiar with.

The goat gave me a chuckle and I was intrigued by the ancient relics!

So, the photos that were shot in museums come from a few museums that are attached to the various colleges at Cambridge University. Several of the colleges have their own museums, and they are fascinating places to explore.

Hello
A photograph that stands out clearly in my eyes is the goat (or ibex) in the graveyard
She is fabulous!

Thank you very much. I really liked that photo too, partially because I have never seen livestock kept in this way.

Really like the calculator shot and the filter makes it look like a classic image. These days I think many of us use the calculator on our phones. I really do still prefer using a traditional calculator 🙂

I’m with you on this, I have a traditional calculator kept in my desk, and I prefer using that over the one on my phone.

I remember back in the day I had not one but two chunky calculators at home. Then as time went on, the calculators got slimmer. I do prefer the slim calculators over the one on my phone lol.

Yes, for whatever reason the one on my phone is my least favorite.

These are all fabulous photographs. I was fascinated by the ram in the cemetery.
He’s even got a drinking reservoir. He has a quizzical look on his face. Great …

Yes, there was a whole group of them that appeared to live there permanently. That was something I have never seen and was fascinating to me.
