January Squares: Golden Light

This photo, shot with my iPhone, caught my eye because of the light:

ISO 200 f/2.2 4.15mm 1/33sec

When it came to the edit, I wanted to also accentuate the golden tones. It has the Luminar Look, Dripping in Gold added to it and a vignette:

I think often I am hesitant to use a lot of light in photos. Great to see how you have utilized it rather than avoid it.

It took me years to really start to experiment with using light in this way. So often in photography, there is an emphasis on perfect exposure. That’s fine, often really good! but also it is really fun to push that light boundary I think.
