This week the theme is Center Frame. A few additional instructions were provided and the photo is also to include the ideas of isolation and loneliness. Wow, considering that all the themes were set well in advance, this one certainly seems pretty timely:

This photo, taken near my home, certainly speaks to the near-empty landscape. To add to the feeling of loneliness I’ve added the Luminar Look, Cold Film, and a fairly significant vignette. You can let me know in the comments below if you feel this is successful or not.

Was there a wind? I imagined there was a strong wind.

It is so very flat here and this part of the country is known for being windy. On this particular day, it was windy but not really strong. On our strong days, it’s actually pretty unpleasant to walk.

It was windy here this week. On one of my hikes the quiet was the sound of the wind in the trees. I think I projected some of that into your image.
