Well here’s a thing that happened this past week:
It’s odd to look around at what has been our home for the last four years. We arrived as strangers and are leaving during strange times. The photo above was shot on my iPhone and edited in Luminar. It has the Luminar Look, Quay Fade, applied at 47%. I also edited the vignette.
Your thoughts on the photo or edit are welcome below.
Cheers!
Safe travels to your new home and crossing the pond!

Between 1966 and 2001, I moved over 12 times and many cherished items we lost, probably inside the discarded packing boxes. We have been at our current address for the last 19 years. Good luck with the move.

Thanks very much, this move is going as well as it could be given the current global situation. We pretty much have at least a few items damaged or broken with each move, but nothing that has been a major loss, so hopefully our luck holds. The packers did a great job, so it was off to a good start on that front. I am sorry to hear that you lost some important things over your moves, that’s sad to hear.

The end of an era is always somewhat shocking, dear Amy. I wish you much happiness in your new home.

Yes, every move is filled with little odd moments, reminders that one part of our lives is ending. Thanks for your kind wishes.

Nope, it’s a lot of work, regardless of how far (or not) you are moving. So far, so good though.
